This week’s theme is I’m too sexy. No, not those arrogant boys who really aren't sexy. We’re talking about those who are and those who are a little over the top about it. Sure, sometimes there is that arrogant hero, or heroine, who will tell you they are too sexy for whatever task put before them. Then comes the fall. And we love to read about the fall.
We love bad boys, we love good boys…heck, let’s just face it…we love men. And we love the girls or boys that love them.
And here's the excerpt from Bonded By Crimson, the first time Matthias kissed Kate after their six years separation.
Go to him. Go. Her mind screamed, but she halted, reluctant to link her arm with his.
He nudged her. “Come on.”
Oh, what the hell? she decided. What did she really have to lose? She knew he was too kind a man to ever cause her harm. With a sigh, she took him up on his offer, her
uncertainties slowly dissipating.
Their feet padded on the park’s narrow paths as they strolled along without saying a word. She cast him a few glances, hoping he’d break the silence. But he only smiled and
squeezed her hand. They reached the park’s cement wall. There was not a soul about. The entrance stood a few steps to their left, illuminated by two dim lights. With a hard pull of his hand,he swung her around to face him.
He caressed her hair. She trembled, fearing he would kiss her, terrified he wouldn’t.
She stared into his eyes. Deep pools of blue, they held hers captive, weaving a spell of desire. This ancient park, this immortal man, the atmosphere, all combined to surround her heart with magic.
“To hell with the pretenses,” he growled, cupped her face in his hands, and crushed his lips to hers.
