Happy Friday the 13th

Hi all!

I'm blogging from the island of Iz, something I never imagined I would ever do, since there's no Internet connection here. But the miracle of technology and an invention of the Internet stick allows me to do so.

For this blog, I've decided to follow some of the trail my character from "Bonded by Crimson", Kate, jogged in the town of Zadar. Below is the Land Gate, bearing the winged lion, an emblem of the Republic of Venice.

Here you see a small portion of the solar circle or "Greeting to sun", where Matthias gave Kate an earth shattering kiss.
"Matthias stepped on the thick glass panels of the circle. An
array of flickering fluorescent lights raced across the surface of
the floor. “The panes absorb the energy from the sun and at
night they create this colorful show,” he said."

And this is a snug harbour of Fosccha, just to the side of the Land Gate. The brown building with white window shatters is a famous fish restaurant that's been on this location for centuries and still prepares the fish in the traditional cuisine.

And that's all for today folks. Hitting the beach in a few. Hope your Friday the 13th is going smooth and no black cats crossed your path. Superstitious, yes, but ... tune in next time when I post pics from island.
