Monday inspiration

Morning!

Today I have to give my employer two weeks notice and I have a bout of nervous butterflies fluttering in my stomach. With the changes the management implemented in the last week and one staff member on vacation this week, and there's bound to be at least one or two staff to call in sick, I'm sure my news will sink like a stone in their hearts. but ... need I justify my decision. No, I don't think so. There's just too many issues I can't work with neither change them nor improve them, so I have to part ways with this place.

But enough about that. Monday's going to be tough for all of us, so let's lighten it up. And since last week's post was in haste and kind of short, I felt it's only fair to make it up to you guys by posting a double delight.

In case you spent the weekend on your knees, cleaning, I hope this would cheer you up.

House cleaning service anyone? I don't know about you, but I sure could think of a few places he'd be cleaning.

And my second pick is this guy. The reason I chose him is that I have this nagging idea for a story between an overweight heroine and this gorgeous former army guy, seen some action and now suffers from PTSD. They'll help each other overcome the life hardships and, of course, find love. So what would you say, would a guy like this fall for a big gal? I know what heart chooses has nothing to do with your brain, just don't want readers to say something like 'as if a guy like this would even look at the girl like that'. Guess, I have some pretty convincing writing to do.

That's all folks! Come back next Monday, but in the mean time do leave a comment. You know I love to hear from you all.
Blessed be your Monday!
Pray that mine is, too!

  1. Good luck with giving your notice, Zrinka. You have to happy at your job or it sucks the life out of you.

Luckily your other jobs allows you to post these great pictures :)

Both guys are dreamy and yes, I need a house cleaner, stat!

PS - I don't know that all men are that shallow about looks. Women can be just as bad. I think if a person is someone you really need, a guy like him could see past what society believes is the perfect women. Sounds like a great story.

  2. Yum. Guy #2 inspires all kinds of story ideas in me, too. Yum. (oops, I already said that...)

  3. Absolutely YES to both of them. Your story sounds good Zrinka. Put me as your inspiration for your overweight heroine if that's your hero :)
