My Sexy Captain’s Chair ~ @MySexySaturday

Today's My Sexy Saturday post is all about Captain's Chair. The characters who are in charge and wield it in such a way that everyone loves them.

Therefore my second novel, a pirate’s romance titled “Treasured Chest” released on November 24th is available at Black Opal Books Amazon Barnes & Noble AllRomance eBooks Smashwords and Kobobooks is the perfect for this post.

The last thing Captain Sirena expected to find on a desolate island was...him!

When Carmen Ventura takes up her post as commander of the Strega, she becomes the new Captain Sirena, the legendary pirate most people think is just a myth created to scare children. Her first quest is to search for the “treasured chest” hidden by her predecessor. But before she can even begin the hunt, she runs into Marko Lucin, captain of the Levant and Carmen’s most insane adventure yet.

How can the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen be a bloody pirate?

Never one to pass up an adventure, especially where pretty women are concerned, Marko finds his ultimate challenge in Carmen. Not only does he fall for her courage, spunk, and intelligence, but the lady pirate can also help him get what he wants—the famous treasure everyone whispers about. His only problem—how long can he play the charming captain before she discovers his true intentions?

And here are 7 paragraphs depicting Captain Marko staking his claim on pirate's Captain Sirena.

A few minutes later the faint knock on her door made her close her eyes. She knew it was him, and if she opened the door, she would be helplessly lost to this enticing man. Right now, she yearned to be with him. Her feet itched to spring from the chair and let him in. But the memory of her late husband kept her nailed to the spot.
I want you to be happy, Carmen, no matter what you do. His favorite saying surfaced in her mind. Death had separated them and her heart died with him. Yet, she had so much youth and life in her and no one to give it to.

After her ignoring the third knock, the door opened and Marko popped his head in. “I know you’re in here.”

A broken breath shook her chest. He stepped in and sauntered to her bunk. She turned to him and got to her feet. His manly scent enveloped her and clouded her mind. “Now is not the best time, Marko.”

“It’s never the time, is it?” His husky whisper, coupled with his gentle cupping of her chin, sent shivers of pleasant anticipation through her. “This could be the only time we have.”

Like a butterfly’s wings, his lips brushed hers and caused her breath to quiver. She wanted him to continue, to lay his hands on her, and pull her against his hard body. As if he read her mind, his arms wrapped around her waist. He deepened his kiss with a groan, tightening his hold around her. Her lips parted and she breathed him in, allowing his tongue to explore her mouth. For a moment, she tasted wine on his skin, deep
and affecting, like his voice. The soft bristles of his beard teased her neck and made her wonder what their joining would be like.

God almighty, the man knew just how to handle her. Her legs gave out under her and she lost her balance, leaning into him. His tongue trailed over her chin and down her neck, coaxing a soft moan from her.

“Sirena of the Adriatic,” he murmured, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. “Consider yourself claimed by me."
