Welcome to the 97th week of My Sexy Saturday.
This week’s theme is Our Sexy Best and it brought to mind another song: Tina Turner’s The Best. If you haven’t heard this song, you should look it up because it has all the emotion needed for a hot, sexy romance. The one line that really carries this theme is the second one: Better than all the rest. This line is what this theme is all about.
This theme has no genre, no rules except that the characters know their other half is better than all the rest. They may have had lovers before but nothing compares to the lover they are with.

He cupped her face in his palms, tilting her head toward him. “Don’t say impossible. There are always complications, but don’t give up on me—on us, Carmen. We’ll find a way to be together.”
Her forehead creased as her gray eyes examined his face. “I’m a widow and a pirate whose head can bring a hefty

his back, pulling her head to his chest. “I’d rather sail the seas with you for the rest of my life.”
“You would become a pirate?” Astonishment laced her voice. “For me?”
He nodded. “For you I would do anything.” He spoke nothing but the truth. But would she be brave enough to accept him?
