Manly Monday - Fall inspiration

The leaves are turning colors and soon all shades of Autumn will come out. But to see them in their full glory one must travel outside the city. The experience is truly breathtaking, when you see it for the first time. Mother nature sure knows how to impress.
I'd post a few pictures, but to watch it on the computer monitor does not do the scenery a justice. No matter how big the screen and how many pixels there are. Still, as the Canadian Thanksgiving fast approaches, and we once again travel to northern part of Ontario to celebrate it with the family, I'll have my camera ready. No matter how many pictures I've taken there, each Fall it seems a whole different canvas.

I tried to find more Fall edition kind of guys to inspire our writing muse, but they are hard to come by. Seems the beach boys of summer still dominate.

Anyhow, here are my two pics for this week.

So deep in thought! Looks like his surrounding matches his mood, but I love brooding guys. Wonder if he's pondering where his shirt might be or something else.

And here's #2. Though I'm not too much into cowboys, even I save the horse on occasion.

Hope there are no fleas in that hay.

That's it for now folks! Did it make you Monday morning a bit bearable? I hope so, I'm sure mine will be hectic just as every morning.

  1. I look forward to manly Monday mornings, although, I didn't have time to check it out until Monday afternoon. 2 great pics. The guy on the swing needs a comforting friend,(me) and the other one needs a roll in the hay.(me,me)

    1. The swing guy does kind of look sad. I'd love to comfort him too. No roll in a hay for me. I don't care who's there.

  2. The first guy looks like he needs my arms around him to warm him up a little. That hay looks too itchy to roll around in though. Thanks for the Monday lift.

    1. Yes, the lonely guy on a swing seems to attract everyone's attention. I'm with you on a hay thing.

  3. Great pics, Zrinka :) I like the guy on the swing, he looks lonely. After I push Cathy off, it'll be my turn, LOL
